Applications extended until midnight Mon 28th March!

Central Coast Council are pleased to announce a brand-new Tuggerah Lakes Changemaker Course kicking off in April 2022! Have you got a community waterways project or idea you are passionate about? Or do you want to help to protect and restore the Tuggerah Lakes catchment but are not sure where to start? The course is a capacity building program provided to the community to support the development and implementation of ideas that promote or enhance positive connections and belonging within the local community and the Tuggerah Lakes natural environment.

The Changemakers Course connects like-minded people to work together to create fun, local projects that positively impact Tuggerah Lakes and our community. Together with experts and volunteers, you’ll explore the estuary, its issues and solutions to develop engaging ways of drawing people to act to protect our waterways. The course includes a series of workshops targeting different skill areas that provides participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to confidently design and implement their ideas from start to finish.
